When it’s possible to embrace fresh, seasonal and local ingredients when serving breakfast I prefer to do so. I have noticed that here in Dominican Republic avocados are awesome. So fresh, big and tasty without those brown spots that you so often find from avocados bought in Norway or Finland.
When on holiday, I want to keep my breakfast simple when preparing it self. Good coffee is essential, fresh juice with ice tastes so much better, fresh fruits and toast. Now when avocados are on their best I had my toast with cream cheese, avocado and hint of salt and lime juice. That’s it! Perfection! BTW, do you recognize the green fruit in the picture above. First time I had that one.
